A skin-contact Chenin Blanc fermented for twelve days on 100% whole bunches, made with heart. The oxidative style results in a complex wine with good acidity.
Grown in the Paardeberg area of the Swartland region, the vines set root in granite soils beneath a sandy top layer varying in depth.
This is a wine made alternatively with minimal sulphur added, from grapes picked early for freshness. The resulting wine is naturally acidic and lower in alcohol, aged in small oak barrels.
